The key ingredients in this formula is Hepheran Sulfate Analog (HSA) and cysteamine. HSA (Senté's proprietary component) which work to improve skin barrier health, while cysteamine works to combat Tyronaise. Tyronaise is the main cause of hyperpigmentation as it increases melanin production.
 
Both are ingredients are effective at producing their intended effect. The packaging is a pump bottle which reduces contamination and helps to dispense the right amount of product. Thanks to the dimethicone in this formula, spreading a thin even layer is simple, needing 1.5 - 2 pumps to cover the entire face so the bottle will last a long time. The product does have an initial strong smell, but it comes off after washing with a mild cleanser.

Apply a thin layer (of mask) to clean dry skin daily, either morning or night. Leave on for 15 minutes.
Thoroughly wash off product with a mild cleanser then follow with moisturiser to help mitigate the slight Cysteamine scent. If using during the day, follow with SPF 30+.
 
If you wash your face before use, wait at least 20 minutes until skin is completely dry before applying Cysteamine HSA Pigment & Tone Corrector. Do not leave on for more than 15 minutes. If you have never used this product before or have sensitive skin, begin with every other day application, advancing to everyday use as tolerated. Do not leave on for more than 15 minutes.
